Faculty in the UFF USF Bargaining Unit will vote on a contract that the United Faculty of Florida (representing USF faculty and professionals) and the USF Administration (representing the USF Board of Trustees) tentatively agreed to last week. It comes into force once it is ratified by the faculty and professionals – and the Board.
- Details on the Contract. Once the contract is ratified, there will be a 1.5 % pay raise for each employee who was hired by 1 August 2018 and was rated at least satisfactory in the 2018 – 2019 performance evaluation. In addition, the Administration will have the authority to use as funds for discretionary raises the unused money for discretionary raises left over from the current 2016 – 2019 contract, as well as 0.5 % of the current payroll. Voting will take place on October 11 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the Learning Commons in USF Sarasota / Manatee, in the Poynter Library in USF St. Petersburg, and in front of the Main Library in USF Tampa.
