President’s report.
- Certification. PERC is moving on our petition for recertification.
- Legal update. Litigation updates.
- Labor Day Picnic. Union activists attending the picnic spoke to several candidates.
- Chapter constitution and bylaws. The constitution and bylaws will have to be updated. Discussion.
- Moving on salary. Discussion about compression . inversion..
- Constitution and Bylaws. We need revisions to bring these documents up to date.
New Business.
- Fall schedule. On Oct. 9 the Chapter will meet on USF St. Petersburg in the USC Palm Room.
- Spring election. We will explore the possibility of conducting the election electronically.
Reports.
- Membership. Discussion of several kinds of social activities.
- Treasury. We are solvent. We will need to adjust both the budget and the financial process. Discussion.
- Grievances. We have filed a grievance over the Administration’s refusal to honor course request allocations.
