As we enter the last week of session, we have an urgent request.
The Florida Senate is ignoring their own rules to fast-track HB 1197. If passed, this bill will limit your freedom to join with your fellow educators to advocate for your working conditions and for the needs of the students you serve.
To stand up for public education and fight back against HB 1197, we will be having three Zoom Power Hours this week. If you have never joined us for Power Hour, it is a time for members to get together virtually to take action by calling and emailing legislators.
