There are a lot of details to work out, but the picture of a consolidated University of South Florida is beginning to gel. One geographically distributed pre-eminent (high-impact) research university in which individual campuses preserve their distinct identities, each committed to Students First and operating under a clear, simple and unified leadership structure while enhancing regional development and avoiding unwarranted duplication and yet maximizing performance, service quality and operational efficiencies.
