- Florida DOGE Report to the BOG. New College is consuming a lot of money
- USF’s Presidential Search. The BOG postponed confirmation of Moez Limayem. Discussion..
New Business
- Interest Groups. Members with particular interests may join NEA caucuses that focus on those interests.
- Certification. We will be sending out more SOI cards.
Old Business.
- Certification. We will resume collecting SOI cards.
- Union Benefits. Discussion.
Reports.
- Membership. FSU has over 60% membership density and recommends frequent socials.
- Treasury. We are solvent.
- Contract Enforcement. Grievances are going to court. We are having more issues with eDisclose.
- Bargaining. The only institutions that have gained contracts are those that fired Mattimore. We have received advice from the FEA on where we are in bargaining. Next bargaining session will be attended by UFF (statewide) president Robert Cassanello. We are encouraging faculty to attend.
