Time and place. The meeting was conducted at 12 noon on USF Tampa in EDU 415 and on Zoom.
Attendance. Twelve members, and one staff.
President’s report.
- Course Releases. The Senior vice provost has indicated that USF intends to refuse to honor USF’s course release designations this fall.
- Motion made and seconded that the Chapter shall file a grievance.
- Amendment made and seconded that the Chapter President shall send a letter stating that if the Administration does not present a written assertion on whether the Administration is honoring the course release designations for this fall, the Chapter shall take lack of assertion to be a refusal; at either a refusal or failure to respond, the Chapter shall file a grievance, subject to advice from FEA Legal. Amendment passes.
Motion passes.
- Motion made and seconded that the Chapter shall file a grievance.
At this point, the Chapter Meeting was adjourned, and the next two hours were spent sorting and recording SOI cards.
