President’s Report.

  • Recertification. There will be a recertification election, with the costs shared by the USF Administration and UFF.

  • USF Board of Trustees. The BOT will meet on June 4 at 9 am on USF Tampa in the Marshall Center Ballroom; we anticipate that tenure and promotions of faculty will be on the consent agenda. UFF will encourage faculty to attend. There will be a preparing-to-attend-the-BOT-meeting social at Akropolis New Tampa on June 3 at 12 noon; interested members are asked to RSVP to President Steve Lang.
  • Old Office Records. UFF USF had an office in the NEC building, shared with UFF USF GAU, and the GAU has asked us to remove our old records. We need volunteers to assist.
  • Recruiting Software. We will set up training for volunteers to learn how to use Action-Builder.
