BALLOTS ARE DUE BY THURSDAY!!

The proposed contract bargained by the United Faculty of Florida (representing UFF USF employees) and the USF Administration (representing the USF Board of Trustees) has been submitted to the UFF USF employees for a vote by mail. Ballot packets were sent to home addresses of UFF USF employees, and you should have received your packet and mailed in your ballot by now. Any UFF USF employee who has not received their ballot should contact the Chapter Secretary.

The proposed contract does not come into force unless and until ratified by both the UFF USF employees and the USF Board of Trustees. The UFF USF Bargaining team unanimously recommends voting in favor of ratification.

For information on the proposed contract, see the Ratifying a New Contract page on the UFF USF website. For answers to questions about the contract, contact us.

Ballots will be counted on May 13 at 12 noon in EDU161 on USF Tampa. All UFF USF employees - UFF members and non-members alike - are invited to observe. A Zoom link will be sent out on Thursday for anyone who wishes to observe remotely.

Next Chapter Meeting on May 13

This will be joint meeting of the Chapter and the Bargaining Committee, which will count the ratification ballots. Any employee in the Bargaining Unit may attend; details will be announced soon.

Annual Letter Carrier's Food Drive

Because of the pandemic, the drive was not conducted in 2021 or 2022, but with food prices squeezing the food banks, the need is as great as ever.

Put your non-perishable containerized items in a bag by your mailbox on Saturday, May 14, and your friendly neighborhood letter carrier will deliver it to a local food bank. For more information about this food drive, check out this YouTube video.
