Yesterday morning, the USF Board of Trustees voted in favor of ratifying the contract bargained by the USF Chapter of the United Faculty of Florida and the USF Administration. Since employees in the UFF USF Bargaining Unit have already voted in favor of ratifying the contract, it is now ratified.
The terms and conditions of employment are now determined by the 2021 - 2024 Collective Bargaining Agreement. In particular, this means that continuously employed permanent employees hired prior to 7 August 2021 will receive a $2,000 bonus by July 27 and a 3.5% raise by September 1.
More details are forthcoming in the next regular Biweekly. We thank everyone who voted on ratification.
The USF Chapter of the United Faculty of Florida will meet Friday, June 24, at 12 noon, on Zoom. Meetings and events are posted on the Events Calendar of the UFF USF Website. Come and check us out.
