UFF USF Employees vote in favor of Ratification
The proposed contract bargained by the United Faculty of Florida (representing UFF USF employees) and the USF Administration (representing the USF Board of Trustees) comes into effect if and only if both the UFF USF employees and the USF Board of Trustees vote in favor of ratification.
This afternoon, volunteers tallied, opened, and counted the ballots. Out of 652 ballots cast, 645 were in favor of ratification, 5 were against ratification, and two were invalid. The UFF USF faculty have voted in favor of ratification, and the ball is now in the Board's court.
We thank all the employees who voted, and we thank the volunteers who counted the votes.

Annual Letter Carrier's Food Drive
Because of the pandemic, the drive was not conducted in 2020 or 2021, but with food prices squeezing the food banks, the need is as great as ever.
Put your non-perishable containerized items in a bag by your mailbox on Saturday, May 14, and your friendly neighborhood letter carrier will deliver it to a local food bank. For more information about this food drive, check out this YouTube video.

USF United Support Fund for Food Pantries
Many of our students are struggling during this crisis, and the USF Foundation is supporting the USF Food Pantries to help out. They are accepting non-perishable donations, but one can also make monetary donations for the pantries at St. Petersburg, Sarasota / Manatee, and Tampa.
