  • The five candidates for delegates to the Florida Education Association Assembly were elected: Steve Lang, Richard Manning, Greg McColm, Steve Permuth, and Arthur Shapiro.
  • Of the twenty candidates for the UFF Senate, Katherine Alfredo, Karin Braunsberger, Leon Hardy, Steve W. Lang, John Lennon, Barbara Lewis, Richard Manning, Greg McColm, LaSonya Moore, Kerry Myers, Fawn Ngo, Cynthia Patterson, Vic Peppard, Steve Permuth, Frank Pyrtle III, Steve Reader, Debra Sinclair, Brian Turnbull, Bob Welker, Sonia Ramírez Wohlmuth were elected; Steve Reader will serve as an alternate senator. (President Shapiro serves ex officio.)
Officers and representatives assume their positions immediately. However, we still need five more delegates; if you are interested, please contact the Chapter Secretary.

We thank the Election Committee, and the volunteers, Katherine Alfredo, Zac Atlas, Jenna Luque, and Steve Permuth, who counted the votes.

More Election Returns

The statewide United Faculty of Florida has also conducted its biennial election. (All UFF members statewide are eligible to vote in the statewide election.) Here are the results:

Getting a Shot
