Getting Out the Vote

USF Academic Affairs recently sent out this flier encouraging everyone - especially students - to vote. The deadline to vote in the general election this fall is one week from today, so here is the flier again. You can go to USF.TURBOVOTES.ORG to get information and sign up for reminders: just click anywhere on the image.

Chapter Meeting and Grievance Training on USF St. Petersburg on Friday

On Friday, October 7, the Chapter will meet on USF St. Petersburg at 12 noon at the University Student Center (USC/WEL on the map). We will have lunch starting at 11:30 and the meeting starts at noon. After the chapter meeting, at 1:30, we will have a workshop on the grievance process mandated by the contract. The grievance process is important for enforcing the contract and for protecting individual faculty.

The chapter meeting is open to all UFF USF employees, but the workshop is open to UFF members; however, we will have membership forms for people who want to join. Come and check us out.
