YOU'RE INVITED!

We are your friendly neighborhood faculty union, and we would like to invite you to a Spring Social on Friday, April 20, starting at 11:30 pm, on USF Tampa, in the Marshall Student Center, in the Sabal Room (on the third floor, to the right and around the corner from Top of the Palms, where we will get lunch. Come talk to union bigwigs about the hot issues, like bargaining the next contract (during the next academic year!) and consolidating USF.

We are the United Faculty of Florida (UFF), and we represent YOU in bargaining and enforcing your contract with the USF Board of Trustees. (In bargaining and contract enforcement - i.e., grievances - UFF represents USF faculty and professionals while the USF Administration represents the USF Board of Trustees.)

(To be precise, UFF represents employees in the "UFF USF Bargaining Unit", which consists of almost all USF faculty and professionals except for many department chairs (although we do represent Arts & Science and Education chairs), many medical people (although we do represent Nursing and Public Health employees), and many "administrative and professional" people. If you received this broadcast, you are in the Bargaining Unit.)

UFF is a volunteer organization consisting of fellow faculty and professionals, and anyone in the Bargaining Unit may join: just Download, fill in, and mail the membership form; dues are 1 % of salary for someone to bargain and enforce your contract (about one-twentieth the going rate in Hollywood for someone to bargain and enforce your contract).

So come check us out Friday, 11:30 pm, in the Marshall Student Center, in the Sabal Room.
