United Faculty of Florida Ratifies the Tentative Agreement

During the last three weeks, the USF Chapter of the United Faculty of Florida conducted a referendum on a Tentative Agreement bargained by UFF (representing YOU) and the USF Administration (representing the USF Board of Trustees). Once this Tentative Agreement is ratified by both sides, it becomes the Collective Bargaining Agreement - the contract - between the UFF USF employees and their employer, the USF Board of Trustees.

The results are in, and of 415 valid votes cast (by 1,673 employees in the UFF USF Bargaining Unit), 409 were in favor of ratification and six against. As a result, the United Faculty of Florida has ratified the Tentative Agreement.

Thanks to all who voted. The ball is now in the Board's court, and we should hear from them within three weeks.
